    Spain's Classics

    Duration9 Days
    CountrySpain

Madrid, Granada, Seville and Barcelona — four cities that carry the whole story of Spain between them. Private coach and high-speed AVE link them into one sweeping 9-day route, where Moorish palaces, Gaudí masterpieces and world-class art build toward an evening of live flamenco, all inside a single, expertly managed itinerary.

    Day by Day

    1

    Day 1

    Arrival in Madrid

Your group arrives at Madrid-Barajas Airport, where your BRACAP Tour Manager is waiting with a warm welcome. After a private transfer to your centrally located 4★ hotel, the afternoon is free to settle in — stroll the Puerta del Sol, browse Gran Vía or relax over coffee in Plaza Mayor. In the evening everyone gathers for a welcome group dinner in the heart of the capital.

    2

    Day 2

    Madrid & the Prado

A full day in the Spanish capital. The morning opens with a guided tour of the Prado Museum, home to masterworks by Velázquez and Goya. After lunch near the Retiro Park, the afternoon continues through Habsburg Madrid — the Royal Palace façade, Almudena Cathedral and the arcaded Plaza Mayor. The evening is free to sample tapas along Calle Cava Baja.

    3

    Day 3

    AVE South to Granada

A morning departure from Madrid's Atocha station puts your group aboard the high-speed AVE, gliding south across the plains of La Mancha and reaching Granada in just over three hours. After hotel check-in, an orientation walk follows the Carrera del Darro to Plaza Nueva. As dusk falls, the Mirador de San Nicolás offers the classic first view of the Alhambra against the Sierra Nevada.

    4

    Day 4

    The Alhambra & Albaicín

The day belongs to the Alhambra, the hilltop palace-fortress of Spain's last Moorish dynasty. A guided visit moves through the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife gardens and the Alcazaba ramparts. The afternoon descends into the Albaicín, Granada's UNESCO-listed Moorish quarter, with its whitewashed lanes and hidden squares. In the evening the group shares a relaxed dinner in the old town.

    5

    Day 5

    Seville & a Flamenco Night

Leaving Granada behind, the private coach crosses a sea of olive groves into the Guadalquivir valley, arriving in Seville by early afternoon. First impressions come on a gentle stroll past the Torre del Oro and along the riverside promenade. The night is one to remember: a flamenco dinner show in a traditional tablao, where guitar, song and dance fill the room.

    6

    Day 6

    Seville in Depth

A full day in the Andalusian capital. The morning explores Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, with a climb up the Giralda tower for rooftop views. After lunch in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the afternoon takes in the Real Alcázar's Mudéjar courtyards and the sweeping Plaza de España. The evening is free for tapas in Triana.

    7

    Day 7

    Across Spain to Barcelona

From Seville's Santa Justa station the high-speed AVE carries your group across the breadth of Spain, trading Andalusian plains for the Mediterranean coast by mid-afternoon. After hotel check-in, the evening opens Barcelona in style: a guided walking tour of the Barrio Gótico, weaving past the Cathedral, Plaça del Rei and the medieval lanes of the old city.

    8

    Day 8

    Gaudí's Barcelona & La Boqueria

The morning is devoted to the Sagrada Família, Gaudí's basilica under construction since 1882, where a guided visit decodes its forest-like columns and light-filled nave. At midday the group dives into the Mercado de la Boqueria, just off Las Ramblas, for a lunch of market tapas. The afternoon follows the Passeig de Gràcia past Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, before a farewell dinner celebrates the journey.

    9

    Day 9

    Farewell Barcelona & Departure

After a leisurely final breakfast there is time for a last stroll along the harbourfront or some souvenir hunting in the Born quarter, before your BRACAP Tour Manager coordinates all transfers to Barcelona–El Prat Airport. The team assists with check-in and luggage, leaving your group with memories of nine remarkable days across the very best of Spain.
