    Andalusia's Atlantic Circuit

    Duration7 Days
    CountrySpain

Andalusia's Atlantic Circuit bases your group in Málaga to reach two stops rarely paired on a single Andalusian tour: the Neolithic dolmens and karst landscape of Antequera, and Jerez's Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art on the region's Atlantic side. The route also takes in the Alhambra, Córdoba's Mezquita-Catedral, Seville's cathedral and Alcázar, and a day trip to Cádiz's Atlantic old town — official guides throughout.

    Day by Day

    1

    Day 1

Arrival on the Costa del Sol

A private transfer meets your group at Málaga Airport and continues straight to the hotel, in the city centre for three nights. Rooms are ready on arrival — doubles for single use or twin-share, by rooming plan — and the day closes with a three-course dinner together before the circuit's first full day, to Granada, the following morning.

    2

    Day 2

    A Day at the Alhambra

A full-day coach excursion, travelling by way of Nerja, reaches Granada under the care of two official guides. Entrance tickets cover the whole party at the Alhambra and the Generalife, the fortress-palace whose carved stucco and terraced gardens have drawn visitors to this hillside for eight centuries. Dinner follows back in Málaga, at a restaurant in the city.

    3

    Day 3

    Dolmens, Karst and Flamenco

A second full-day excursion, again with two official guides, heads inland to Antequera: first the Menga and Viera dolmens, among the largest Neolithic burial chambers in Europe, then the wind-carved limestone towers of El Torcal. The day ends on a different note entirely, with a flamenco show and a tapas menu standing in for dinner.

    4

    Day 4

    Through Córdoba to Seville

A touring transfer carries the group from Málaga toward Seville, breaking the journey in Córdoba for a guided visit — two official guides, around two hours — to the Mezquita-Catedral, where a forest of red-and-white striped arches traces the building's passage from mosque to cathedral. The coach continues to Seville, where the group checks in for the circuit's second half. Dinner is served at the hotel.

    5

    Day 5

    Cathedral and Royal Alcázar

A full day in Seville, with two official guides throughout, covers the city's two great monuments side by side: the Real Alcázar, the Mudéjar royal residence still in use by the Spanish royal family, and the Cathedral, whose bell tower, La Giralda, once called worshippers to prayer as a minaret. Dinner is taken at a restaurant in the city.

    6

    Day 6

Cádiz and the Horses of Jerez

A day trip to the Atlantic coast: two official guides lead a walking tour of Cádiz's old town, roughly three hours through streets that end at the seafront. In Jerez de la Frontera, entrance covers the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, its Museum of Equestrian Art, the Carriage Museum and the gardens of the Recreo de las Cadenas. The coach returns to Seville for a final dinner.

    7

    Day 7

    Departure

A private transfer carries the group from Seville to Málaga Airport, closing seven days that opened on the Costa del Sol, climbed to the Alhambra's gardens, crossed the wind-carved rock of El Torcal, walked beneath the double arches of the Mezquita and finished among the bodegas and horses of Jerez.
