    Day by Day

    1

    Day 1

    Arrival in Madrid

Your group lands at Madrid airport, where our local team is waiting in the arrivals hall to assist before the private coach transfer to a 3★ semi-central hotel. The rest of the day is free for a first contact with the Spanish capital, at whatever pace the group prefers after the journey. Overnight in Madrid.

    2

    Day 2

    A Free Day in Madrid

After breakfast at the hotel, the whole day belongs to your group. Madrid can be explored independently, or the group can book one of the optional private tours from the catalogue: a panoramic coach drive with entry to the Royal Palace, a half-day excursion to Toledo with a local guide, or a walking tapas tour with tastings in two local taverns. Overnight in Madrid.

    3

    Day 3

    High-Speed Train to Barcelona

Breakfast and check-out, then a private coach transfer to Atocha station for the high-speed train to Barcelona, a run of around two and a half hours in standard class. On arrival in the Catalan capital, a private transfer takes the group to its hotel and the rest of the day stays free. Overnight in Barcelona.

    4

    Day 4

    Free Day in Barcelona

Breakfast at the hotel, and a full free day in Barcelona for the modernist architecture, the beaches or whichever cultural options the group prefers. Optional private tours are available on request: the Sagrada Família with an official guide, a two-hour walk through the Gothic Quarter, or a half-day at Montserrat including the rack railway. Overnight in Barcelona.

    5

    Day 5

Flight to Rome & Coach Pickup

After breakfast, a private transfer to Barcelona airport for the internal flight to Rome, which is not included and is booked separately. On landing in the Italian capital, your group is met by the private long-distance coach that will accompany it through Italy and on to Switzerland, and transfers to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Rome.

    6

    Day 6

    Rome, Free to Explore

Breakfast, then a completely free day in the Italian capital. Your group can wander independently or choose from the optional programme: the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel with skip-the-line entry and headsets, Imperial Rome around the Colosseum with a local guide, or a two-hour walk through the Baroque squares and fountains. Overnight in Rome.

    7

    Day 7

    A Second Day in Rome

Breakfast at the hotel. A second open day in Rome lets the group go deeper at its own rhythm, returning to favourite quarters or picking up anything left undone the day before. In the evening, an optional traditional dinner in Trastevere can be arranged, with coach transfers and a three-course menu with water and wine. Overnight in Rome.

    8

    Day 8

    Private Coach to Florence

After breakfast, your group boards the private long-distance coach for the drive north from Rome to Florence. Arrival is followed by free time to start exploring the cradle of the Renaissance on foot, with the evening left open for the group to settle into the Tuscan capital at its own pace. Overnight in Florence.

    9

    Day 9

    Florence at Leisure

Breakfast, then a free day in Florence for the local markets and the historic architecture, at the group's pace. Optional guided visits can be added: a two-hour historic walk with an official guide, the Galleria dell'Accademia and Michelangelo's David with headsets, or a coach excursion to Pisa and its Field of Miracles. Overnight in Florence.

    10

    Day 10

    Venice Stop, Onward to Milan

After breakfast the coach heads for Venice, parking at the Tronchetto terminal, from where public vaporetto tickets, included both ways, carry your group across to the island. The day is free in the lagoon city, with optional gondola rides, the Doge's Palace with a guide or a private half-day boat to the outer islands available. In the afternoon the coach continues to Milan. Overnight in Milan.

    11

    Day 11

    Across the Border to Lucerne

Breakfast at the hotel, then the private coach leaves Milan and crosses the border into Switzerland, arriving in Lucerne. Check-in at the hotel, and the remainder of the day is free; an optional one-hour panoramic cruise on the lake or a two-hour guided historic walk through the old town can be arranged. Overnight in Lucerne.

    12

    Day 12

    TGV to Paris

After breakfast, a transfer to Lucerne railway station, where the long-distance coach ends its services. Your group boards the high-speed TGV to Paris, travelling in standard class, and on arrival at the station a local private coach takes it to the hotel. The rest of the day is free in the French capital. Overnight in Paris.

    13

    Day 13

    Paris, Neighbourhoods & Monuments

Breakfast, then a free day in Paris to explore its neighbourhoods and monuments as the group wishes. Optional private tours are available: a three-hour panoramic drive with a local guide, the Louvre with entry and headsets, a cruise on the Seine, or dinner and show at the Moulin Rouge with coach transfers. Overnight in Paris.

    14

    Day 14

    Last Free Day in Paris

Breakfast at the hotel, and a last free day in the City of Light for shopping, a final museum or any cultural visit left on the list. No group activity is scheduled, so the day runs entirely at your group's own pace before bags are packed for the journey home. Overnight in Paris.

    15

    Day 15

    Paris Departure Transfer

After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the agreed hour, when a private coach transfer takes your group to Paris airport for the journey home, with our local team on hand to assist at departure. Two weeks from Madrid to Paris, run on high-speed trains, a private coach and open days, close here. End of our services.
