GEOGRAPHY TOUR
With its unique geographical features, Tenerife is the largest island of the Canary Islands and the Macaronesian region. Tenerife’s oldest mountain ranges rose
from the Atlantic Ocean after a volcanic eruption that gave birth to the island some twelve million years ago. On this tour, you will explore the island ́s most stunning landscapes and be fascinated by Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain at 3,715 m above sea level and the third largest volcano in the world from its base at the bottom of the sea.

1
ARRIVAL IN TENERIFE
Arrival at Tenerife North airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the accommodation in La Laguna for check-in. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, you will be invited to a welcome dinner to enjoy the delicious Canarian cuisine. Overnight stay.

AROUND THE ISLAND: EXPLORING TENERIFE’S LANDSCAPES
After breakfast, join our local tour guide for a walking tour of La Laguna, the first city founded in Tenerife after its conquest. This historic jewel was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Here you will walk through picturesque streets full of history and culture. The city has much to offer, both traditional and modern, with a blend of design and nature along the Costa Martiánez, including the volcanic beaches of Playa Jardin and Punta Brava, to Lago Martiánez with its salt water pools, the work of the genius César Manrique.
From there, board your private coach and head to the impressive Anaga massif mountain range, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This natural space is home to one of Europe’s most valuable treasures: the Tertiary laurel forest dating from 65 to 2 million years ago.
Finally, descending towards the beautiful northeast coast of the island, you will reach the charming town of Taganana, which stands out for its natural beauty and views of the ocean and the cliffs. In the hamlet of Taganana, you will have free time to walk around, have lunch and try the local Canarian cuisine. Your guide will recommend you some local food to try.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy the golden sands of Las Teresitas beach. Transfer back to your hotel in la Laguna. Overnight stay.

LA OROTAVA: DISCOVERING CAÑADAS DEL TEIDE
After breakfast, you will depart for the town of La Orotava which has one of the best historical and artistic heritages of the Canary Islands. Walking through the main streets, you will discover the Canarian architectural style, which is a fusion of Spanish, Portuguese, and Mudejar styles. Along the way, you will see the Town Hall and the square where a sand carpet is made during the Corpus Christi festival (also known as Pentecost). After visiting La Orotava, you will continue to the Teide National Park. You will climb up to 2,370 m above sea level.
You will pass through different landscapes with wonderful views and traditional villages. Finally, you will cross the Canary pine forest until you reach Las Cañadas del Teide, where you will begin to understand that Tenerife is an island of contrasts.
You will then walk to the cable car station, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Ucanca valley. Optionally, you can take the Teide cable car to the La Rambleta station, located at 3550m, where you will be a few metres from the highest peak in Spain. You will cross one of the world’s largest calderas (volcanic depression).
Finally, you will visit the Roques de García where you will see one of the most emblematic images of Tenerife and other breathtaking features of the National Park. Return to your hotel for the night.

PUERTO DE LA CRUZ: ¡IT’S ADVENTURE TIME!
After breakfast, transfer to Puerto de la Cruz and board your safari jeeps to start your adventure, finding your way to places inaccessible by other means. That’s the advantage of travelling in a 4×4! Along the way, the driver/guide will do some stops and tell you the history, anecdotes, and curious facts about each place. You will visit the secluded Hamlet of Masca, known for its dramatic scenery and quaint cottages. As well as to Garachico, a town that resurfaced from the ashes after being destroyed by a volcanic eruption more than 300 years ago. Santiago del Teide is a pretty town located in the foothills of one of the island’s peaks from where you can descend to enjoy the magnificent views of the Los Gigantes cliffs. During the tour, you will stop at a local restaurant in El Tanque to try Canarian cuisine. At the end of the day, you ́ll be taken back to Puerto de la Cruz and then to your hotel in la Laguna. Overnight stay.

AROUND TENERIFE: LET’S GO SAILING!
After breakfast, you will be taken on a wonderful half-day sailing trip to see Tenerife from the sea. The catamaran will sail to the cliffs of Los Gigantes and Masca in search of whales and dolphins The crew and specialised tour guides will inform you about the characteristics of the cetacean’ species you will see during the excursion. You will learn about their habits, food, migrations, etc. Once you have had the chance to observe cetacean in freedom such as pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, among others, you can relax sunbathing and enjoying a swim in the sea overlooking the coast of the Barranco de Masca. Return to your hotel. You will then be invited for a farewell dinner. Overnight stay.

PUERTO DE LA CRUZ: TENERIFE’S AMAZING NATURE TOUR
After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island and the maritime hub of the Canary Islands where you will see buildings that will captivate you like the Tenerife Auditorium or avant-garde squares such as the Plaza de España or Plaza Weyler.
Then visit the Botanical Garden in Puerto de la Cruz, home to thousands of species of plants from five continents. From the gardens, you can enjoy a panoramic drive through the Orotava Valley. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Tenerife North Airport to catch your flight home. Goodbye to the magical island of Tenerife. End of our services.
